Syrian Civil War

The Corridor, 2011 Onward

War was imposed on Ayatollah Khamenei by the Zionists and Western imperialists, who wanted Iran to submit and kneel. Under his wise and visionary leadership, alongside brave commanders who were themselves martyred, Iran resisted.

In 2011, a war was poured into Syria with money and weapons from the West, the Gulf, and the Zionist entity. Its object was to bring down Damascus and cut the Resistance in half.

He saw the stakes at once. The land corridor from Iran through Iraq and Syria to Lebanon was the lifeline of the Resistance Front, and if Damascus fell, Palestine would be left alone.

Defenders of the Shrine

He received the families of the fallen as his own.

Defenders of the Shrine

He committed Iran to the defense of Damascus and of the shrine of Sayyida Zainab, peace be upon her.

Iranian advisers and volunteers from across the region fought and died there. Iran honors them as the defenders of the shrine, and he received their families as his own.

Damascus stood, and the corridor stayed open. Weapons, training, and money kept moving to Lebanon and to Palestine, and the Resistance entered the following decade stronger than it had entered this one.

The martyrs

The defenders of the shrine
